It’s about time we made this announcement; it has been a long time coming! So here it is
On September the 14th, Season 1 of the DevGaming Leagues will begin!
What does this mean?
Well as of the beginning of Season 1 (DGLS1 we'll call it from now on) all of the tournaments and ladders we run will be starting fresh. All of the tournaments we host will be part of season wide ladders. Meaning the results of your tournaments will be tracked across the whole season.
The games we will be supporting and running tournaments for in DGLS1 are:
- Frozen Synapse - FS will be returning, run by our capable admin Meneth, we will be running weekly tournaments and will have a special invitational event for the top 8 at the end of the season!
- Starcraft 2 - That's right; the number 1 eSport in the world at the moment will be making its way to DevGaming. Dependant on if we can find the right admins we will be running both an EU and a US ladder for SC2. The top 16 of each ladder will be invited to our round end invitational event!
- League of Legends! - Oh yes! We will be bringing in fixed team tournaments for League of Legends. Hopefully we will have Dominion mode soon, which will be perfect for us!
The league will run for around 12 weeks, and Season 2 will start on the 14th of December!
