Welcome to the DevGaming.net.
    • Introduction

Per the title, hello! I go by Freechoice. I'll save you a few seconds and get down to it.

As for my gaming experience, I've been a Blizzard boy since 1998 when I first played Warcraft 2 although strangely enough, I've never played Diablo. Up until last year, Blizzard was my favorite developer, but they managed to lose my respect for both of the franchises I had experienced. You see, I'm a lore buff. I've put countless hours writing characters into their worlds and it's irritating when I have less plot holes and single dimension characters than the professionals. Uh, yeah, I do fan fiction, but I can assure you that it's bereft of what plagues fanfiction.net (author self insert and shipping).

Now as for the rest of my gaming, I spent most of it during my childhood with off-brands and stuff like the Army Men franchise. However, I am a huge fan of Resident Evil 4, (not 5, hell no) and whatever I can't play, but am interested in, I get to know pretty well courtesy of walkthroughs and wikis. Sadly, I have neither the time nor the coin for games these days, so I take to journalism to keep me involved in it.

When I write reviews and the like, I try to emphasize the negative, but not for its own sake. I believe that the only way to improve anything is to nitpick every little fault to the point that people know instinctively not to repeat it. There are people who give unabashed praise when it's undue and others who try to be cynical in an attempt to sound smart. Really, that's a reflection of the culture of the modern world, but that's another story. I write to improve things and the best way to learn not to touch the fire... is to touch the fire. If you touch the fire twice, FSM willing, a grue eats you.

So that's me as far as the description asked. For more detail, please go to that link above. Stay a while and read.
